| This was my first Hot rod a 63 nova it had a 327 with 202 heads, holley 750 ,10 inch converter 4.56 posi fender well headers .It felt like it went 10s the reality was more like mid 13s . The body was ruff so I found a 63 SS to the right put the running gear in it and went drag racing .The SS ran 9s on the bottle and soon found a roller cam 355 in it . Thats me and my father after I won the pro bracket season championship up at the eagle in my rookie season . Check out the cool hi top runners you weren't cool if you did'nt have those back then .How thing's change. |
| The Nova got the full race treatment and I won the Loafers outlaw class first time out The small block just wasn't fast enough so in goes a 509 BBC that was good for some great wheel stands .9.0s wasn' t fast enough So stroked it to 540 Bought a tunnel ram and did some wind tunnel testing 8.40@167 |
| The race car thing was limited to track only and I wanted to criuse. So I sold the race car and went back to the street .I allways dug 69 Z28 's found one in a field in chilliwack . In went a 630 HP Small block and had a blast mid 10s on the motor never ran it on the bottle picture on the left is when I won a 64 car cash bash at Thunder Mountian Raceway in Kelowna 95' They brought in top fuel funny cars and ran them at night that was a fun race and a cool track. |
| I found a deal on this gorgeous 56 corvette that had a long history behind it I still haven't got all of it and if you know any please let me know . I put a 605cu in BBC with a plate good enough for 8.40s 160 .The car ran on pump gas and I drove it to the track from White Rock. At the time no one had run in the 7's on street tires in Canada So Mission Raceway put up this cool jacket and the race was on! |

| Going back to that funny car and thinking how cool it looked green and white the vette got a new paint job .The shot below is me and Glen battleing it out for the 7 second jacket That was one of the toughest races of my career . |

| Mission also ran a class called West Coast Door Slammers I foung it to be very challenging with very good competition It was a class for the fastest door cars in the division quick 16 field . So i took my street car drag racing |

| Seattle Held a open Pro Street Car Shoot out Magazine coverage from event below I also got another jacket this one for the99 Canadian Pro Street Championship The bottom picture is a fed mog top comp runner up award .At first I was in to this class but it is becoming a dragster class .It would be cool If the NHRA took a page out of the IHRA And ran a class like top sportsman |
